Joel Smith - Whenever someone asks me, “What do you do?” The short answer is, “I make maps!” Which usually turns into, “Like MapQuest?” and honeslty sometimes I have to say, “Yes, like MapQuest”. But on the seldom occasion I’m talking to someone that knows about GIS or has an interest, I actually get to tell them that I map and manage water and wastewater systems and hydraulic models for military instillations across the US. This is my niche within the world of GIS, and I love it! I have been making maps and working with GIS for about 5 years now and feel that I am one of the few that loves what they do. Geo-Jobe is a fantastic company, where I first started my career. I stay in close ties with Neill and the crew because they share my passion for mapping and provide a wonderful avenue for keeping us GIS’ers in the know. I’ve also tasked Neill with “keeping me southern”, now that I live and work in the northeast.

He is currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Sales for the entire organization.
Ian Debnam – Ian Debnam was hired by GEO Jobe in August of 2010 to work as a GIS Technician in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is currently working on a GIS implementation project at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. Ian graduated from Louisiana State University in 2009 with a MA in Geography, and also has a BA in Geography from Louisiana Tech University.
