To be able to use a phone for real-time corrections with a 2008 GeoXH you need the following. A cell phone w/ a "tetherable" data plan. The plan being tetherable is important as this is what allows the phone to transfer data to the handheld via Bluetooth. Attached is a couple of pages from our training documentation to walk you though the setup. Once you have a connection established, you need to set the real-time settings in either TerraSync or GPScorrect to "External Source" You will need to have the IP, Port, Username , Password of the base station that you're wanting to use. Starting page 91 of the GeoExplorer User Guide you will find the settings need to use that service under "Using real-time corrections from the internet". Thank you for following our blog.
